International (MNN) — The World Health Organization estimates that
one-third of the world is well-fed, one-third is under-fed, and one-third is
starving.
Since you've entered this site, at least 200 people have died of
starvation. Over 4 million will die this year. Given the numbers, ten
cents doesn't sound like it could make a dent in the numbers. But it does.
Global Aid Network (GAiN) meets
physical and spiritual needs in Christ's name to those around the world. Their team has packed and readied food to be
shipped, but funds are needed to get it to their partner project sites like
Zimbabwe.
The ministry works with many
major food suppliers to distribute rice-soy meals that are filled with a full
day's nutritional value which help the children grow up strong and healthy.
Four dollars could get you a meal
at a fast food restaurant and save you the hunger of a few hours. But if those
four dollars were donated instead, it would initially save 40 starving children
in Africa.
Three huge containers of food are
packed and ready to be transported, and it is extremely important that they be
delivered by the end of this year. The shipping costs are $45,000, which needs to
be raised so that the children can get their food.
This is a big problem with a simple
solution. Christ's love can be
demonstrated to unreached people around the world by this simple gift.

ways to send a meal for a dime and touch the life of a child.
Starvation takes the lives of 18,000 children a day, but you can help to reduce this
number significantly by donating today.
