Europe (MNN) — Going into the mission field is never easy, especially if you're unfamiliar with the region to which you're going. If you're considering missions but still need questions answered, the Evangelical Free Church may have the thing for you.
ReachGlobal, the international missions arm of the EFCA, is hosting ten 'Vision 4 Europe' trips next summer all over Europe. The trips will introduce participants to missionaries in Europe, teach them more about ReachGlobal, and engage all in a ten-day Bible study and devotional. Participants will also see and help with ministry. Since the trips are to areas where ministries have already been established, those who are interested in full- or part-time missions will have a chance to visit the country's in which they'll be working.
The trips go all over Europe. Here's a list of the various stops, depending on which trip you choose:
Trip 1: Amsterdam, Birmingham, Brussels/Flanders (Netherlands, Great Britain, Belgium)
Trip 2: Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse, (France)
Trip 3: Madrid, Lisbon, Rome, possibly Athens (Spain, Italy, Greece)
Trip 4: Montreal (Canada)
Trip 5: Budapest, Sarajevo, Prague (Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic)
Trip 6: Budapest, Sarajevo (Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina)
Trip 7: Prague, Budapest (Czech Republic, Hungary)
Trip 8: London, Berlin (Great Britain, Germany)
Trip 9: Birmingham, England and Turkey (Muslim ministry trip)
Trip 10: Missionary Kids Education Trip, Bucharest Christian Academy (Romania)
If you are considering going into missions in Europe for any period of time, this is a great opportunity for you to explore the field in a hands-on way. Many missionaries don't get the chance to visit the country to which they're relocating, so this is a unique opportunity.
