Australia (MNN) — The Association of Baptists for World
Evangelism says indigenous partnerships work.
The ministry of the Asia Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS), owned by Cornerstone University, reports that a new student who is an Aborigine has planted two churches among
his people in Australia.
‘Michael,' as he's called, is getting ready to ground his
people in the whole counsel of God's Word. He dreams of being able to teach Bible college
modules in the Australian outback.
However, the government has changed laws that relate to ABTS,
and they must begin the arduous and costly task of registration and
accreditation.
Pray that they will have approval in hand in time for the
November classes. A couple that was leading the young adult ministry relocated and left the church.
