Win a 'Vacation with a Purpose' to Guatemala in 2010
Kids Alive International, in cooperation with Mission Network News, is giving away an all-expense paid trip for two to Guatemala.
Kids Alive President Al Lackey says, "We're looking for a spiritual fire to be lit in the hearts and lives of the two 
people chosen to join us on this trip."
The trip will allow you to see firsthand how Kids Alive is affecting the lives of children in Guatemala in both their Residential Homes and Care Center. You'll meet the children who have recently been taken in and rescued and those who have been in the program for a while.
Essentially, the purpose of the trip is "to get the word out about the work of Kids Alive so that others will share this passion to reach kids, not only from a physical and humanitarian side, but also for the Kingdom of God," says Lackey.
In addition to seeing the Kids Alive ministry sites, the winners will enjoy two days of rest and relaxation in the ancient city of Antigua. The trip will take place at the winner's convenience, hopefully at the end of summer or early fall.
Saturday: Arrive Guatemala City and travel to The Oasis, a girls' residential campus.Sunday: Attend church and cookout at The Oasis.
Monday: Visit the Source of Hope Care Center in Zapote
Tuesday: Site seeing day trip to Lake Atitlan and Panajachel
Wednesday: Shopping and Overnight in beautiful, ancient city of Antigua
Thursday: Antigua tour and Overnight in Antigua
Friday: Return to Guatemala City for flight home.
Contest Details:
The trip for two is for a married couple, mother and daughter, or father and son only. The winner will be drawn within one week of March 31 and announced on the MNN Web site. Families are restricted to one entry per family. To be fair to all registrants, multiple entries from the same family unit will be disqualified. Kids Alive staff and their immediate families do not qualify. Because this is a children's ministry, please include a pastoral reference from the church you are currently attending.
