India (MNN) ― Easter weekend means nation-wide showings of Book of Hope's companion film.
All across India, The GodMan, will be airing on cable television. That creates a viewing audience that could reach to the hundreds of millions.
This Easter, there are two other avenues that Book of Hope will be pursuing to get the film to the public. The first is showing in churches where members can invite friends and family. Those who view the film will also be given the Book of Hope.
The second avenue is private showings in villages where not many families have televisions. Trained families will be showing the film as well as distributing the book.
Along with these viewings they hope to get the Book of Hope into the hands of two million children and youth.
The Godman is an animated version of the Book of Hope that was created in hopes that it would better reach children who are unable to read or are unable to go to school or will never have access to the Book of Hope. The message of salvation can be portrayed to more age groups through the means of film media.
The film is currently available in four versions that each focus on a different culture. Four more versions are in the making. It is also available in 14 languages.
