FHI is rushing emergency help and supplies to the survivors of the devastating earthquake that has shocked South Central Asia. The need is great as the 7.6 magnitude quake tore through the region wiping out more than 40 villages. It is a place of massive destruction.
Food for the Hungry has already identified local partners in both Pakistan and India and is coordinating efforts to provide care kits, winterized shelter tents, blankets, purified water and other emergency relief supplies. In addition, medical and construction teams will arrive in the area later this week.
