Russia (MNN) ― With nearly half of the churches the Slavic Gospel Association serves in need of a pastor, Bible training is a top priority.
SGA sponsors four seminaries and 11 Bible institutes in Russia, while assisting five other Bible institutes. Pray for the students who are enrolled in SGA-sponsored Bible institutes and seminaries across the lands of Russia.
The fall terms of study are now under way, so pray that each student will receive a great blessing as they learn the truths of Gods Word.
SGA works to serve evangelical churches, helping make disciples of the people in the lands of Russia for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through prayer, strategic ministry, and financial assistance.
A unique aspect of SGAs ministry is their distribution network capability which virtually guarantees the delivery of essential ministry resources to hundreds of Russian church planters operating across the vast 11 time zones.
On a typical day, pastors and church planters pick up Christian books, Bibles, Sunday school materials, bicycles, food and clothing for people in crisis, and various other ministry equipment and materials. These resources are also sent to remote rural regions of Russia. They also serve as encouragement to those who have entered ministry after Bible school.
