Meanwhile, an outreach that's helping prison inmates grow in their faith is expanding. Because of a partnership with Prison Fellowship, 2001 was a big year for Crossroad Bible Institute. Crossroad officials say they saw nearly 73-thousand lessons completed and corrected, which is an increase of more than 20-thousand compared the previous year. 2001 also saw more than four-thousand graduates. That's more than double the number of graduates in 2000. Funding is needed to help the growing number of inmates in this discipleship program.
