Next, while most Afghan refugees are leaving Tajikistan, Christians are moving in. It's all part of an ambitious goal to see children come to Christ in that predominately Muslim country. Malcolm Smith with Bible Mission International is in the region helping to train children's workers. "This is all being done in conjunction with our Millennium Kids for Jesus program. Our goal is to reach 200,000 kids for Christ within the next three years. And, so far, the church is really on track to do that. We've tried to provide a regional training for all the Central Asia children's workers." Smith says despite persecution Christians aren't stopping with the children. "The church is telling their people that they need to be loving their neighbors and be very practical about that. What we see is that people are really loving their neighbors and the result is they're being won to Christ. There's a real openness to the Gospel."
