Philippines (MNN) ― Believers in the Philippines are using Web sites to spread the Good News.
Wycliffe Bible Translators says a Web-site-making workshop was held recently in the capital city of Manila. Participants uploaded cultural songs and translated Scripture, as well as other language-related documents like orthographies and literacy aids.
The Philippine language groups and organizations that participated in the workshop include: Kinaray-a, Paranan, Amaganad (Central Ifugao), Ayangan, Ibaloi, Kalanguya, Southern Subanen, Majukayong, Kagayanen, Agutaynen, Mayoyao, Balangao, Logos Philippines, Kwentong Bibliya, and Kalaam Media.

Work that normally would have taken several months to a year was completed in eight days. Fifteen Web sites were launched, and workshop participants walked away with the skills to manage the Web sites themselves.
Pray that God would soften people's hearts and draw them to Himself through this technology.
There are over 180 language groups in the Philippines, and many sects blend Christian ideas with false teachings. Pray that the Holy Spirit would open unbelievers' eyes to see the Gospel clearly.
