Chile (MNN) ― In parts of Chile, the land is dry and the water supply is low. Baptist Global Response (BGR) is calling all to pray. In nearly one-third of the districts, a state of emergency is being declared.

Not only is the drought affecting the people, it is also affecting crops, cattle, mining, and power supplies.

BGR has been helping one area which has been affected for the past seven years by the drought. They are providing hay for livestock and food baskets for 100 of the poorest families.

If you feel that you have the means to help, click here to contribute to the BGR disaster relief fund. Also pray that God will give wisdom to know how to respond to the needs in the area. And of course, pray for rain!
